More From Maine

Here are some more images from the lighting course at the Maine Media Workshops.

On one class outing we had to light an interview in a dance studio that had three large windows in it. This is where the daylight LED lights really work nice. Their color complimented the natural sunlight coming the windows and we were able to shape a shot that was complimentary to the room. The first picture is a screen grab from the F55.

The next day we had a set up in a restaurant that had a room with three walls of windows. Talk about a challenge! The sun was too intense outside so shooting out the windows was not an option. With the LEDs we were able to balance the incoming light so it was more even in the room yet had enough control to have some contrast just where we wanted it. There is a picture of the monitor as well as a screen grab. We also used the F55 on this assignment.
