10/16/12 2012 Fashionista Miracles

This past weekend was the Fashionista Miracles fundraiser organized by Stewart School in Sioux Falls to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. It’s the third year they have done this type of fund raiser but the first for partnering with CMN.

Stewart School teaches cosmetology, so they put on a fashion show where the students do all the hair and make up and partner with clothing stores and model new fashions. Lots of other people are involved from food and drink to video, advertising, lighting and music but it is essentially a student run event–and it rocked! We even had some kids who have received treatment walk the runway as models.

This year’s event raised over $10,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network and I am proud to be a small partner in it’s success. I’d personally like to thank the Vault for offering their space. The club atmosphere was electric and all of the existing wiring make set up and tear down a breeze. We are already looking forward to the next one!

Below are some stills I took after the house opened but before the show began. The other shots are frame grabs from my video feed to the screens around the venue. Enjoy.
